At St John’s, we actively promote active and sustainable travel, encouraging children to develop healthy habits while caring for the environment. Pupils are taught how to travel safely within their community and beyond, gaining essential road safety knowledge and awareness skills.

We place a strong emphasis on educating children about the benefits of walking, cycling, and using sustainable modes of transport. Supporting this initiative is our dedicated pupil voice group, the Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs),who play a key role in championing safe and responsible travel across our school community.
