Day Trips
All classes take part in educational day trips throughout the year to enrich and support the curriculum. These trips are thoughtfully planned and regularly updated to reflect the evolving needs and interests of our children.

- Museum visits, including Year 6 visiting the Mary Rose
Residentials
Year 6 Residental - Calshot Activity Centre
Each year, our Year 6 pupils embark on a week-long residential to Calshot Activities Centre, set in the stunning New Forest, Hampshire. This enriching experience blends outdoor adventure with hands-on learning, all while living out our core values of courage, compassion, and creativity.
Curriculum Connections Through geography and science fieldwork, children:

These activities creatively reinforce classroom learning, especially our ‘Source to Sea’ geography topic, and develop essential Skills for Learning such as observation, analysis, and teamwork.

Reflection and Celebration Each day ends with reflection, celebration of successes, and a hearty dinner. Children demonstrate compassion by supporting one another and creativity in how they approach challenges and share their learning.
